Day 1: Travel from Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park

Start your day with an early morning breakfast and later, check out of the hotel in Kampala and then you will be briefed on what you expect on your Uganda self-drive safari to Murchison Falls National Park for you to explore the diversity of savanna dwellers. Travel from Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park via Luweero-Masindi route about 5 hours’ drive in a comfortable 4×4 self-drive safari car-preferably Super Custom or 4×4 self-drive Land Cruiser. In Nakasongola, you will branch off to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. Spend about 2 hours on rhino trek and get back then drive to Masindi Town to have lunch. Later, drive to Murchison Falls National Park to check-in at the lodge for relaxation,

dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Game drive and launch cruise in Murchison Falls National Park

Your second day will begin with a delicious cup of tea or coffee and after, drive through the Northern Circuit of Murchison Falls National Park for your exciting game drive. Today, expect to see the Rothschild giraffes, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, lions, antelopes like bush bucks, waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, Oribis, warthogs and many more. You will spend about 2-3 hours on a game drive and then return to have lunch and some relaxation.

Your afternoon will be spent on a launch cruise to the bottom of Murchison Falls from Bakers rock. This watersport experience involves you to view hippos, Nile crocodiles, water birds and at Baker’s rock, don’t miss to have a magical view and pictures of the scenic Murchison Falls. You can hike to the top of Murchison Falls and drive back to the lodge or return from Baker’s rock on a boat.
